Cold Laser should not be used:
around a pregnant woman’s belly
directly on tattoos
over sites of cancer (except in palliative care with oncologists permission)
directly over the eyes
directly over a pacemaker ( can still be used in patients with a pacemaker, just not on top of it)
 
However, Cold Laser is able to be used on patients with pins, metal plates, rods and implants.


Frequency of Treatments
Due to the quality of our ASA Cold Laser Technology the treatment times required are fast,
generally from 3-10 minutes depending on your condition.

Some people notice a change after their first treatment, while most will notice some positive change after 4-6 sessions.
Those with chronic conditions may need more treatments depending on the severity of their case.

Initially 3 treatments close together works best, reducing then to twice a week for chronic cases, then steadily reducing to monthly if needed.

Once initial relief has been achieved, many people with chronic conditions do enjoy ongoing relief with monthly to 6 weekly follow ups as required, though we will recommend supportive strategies to help reduce your need for any ongoing care.

If cold laser doesn’t help your spinal pain it may be possible that you could be helped with our new Spinal Decompression Therapy.

Fees
Bribie Cold Laser Therapy is claimable through Medicare ( EPC referral from your doctor for Chiropractic ) and from Health Funds if you have coverage for Chiropractic.  If you have an aversion to Chiropractic, or if Chiropractic is not suitable for you,  have no fear ; we do not need to perform Chiropractic adjustments on you, we can simply use Cold Laser as part of your consultation. 
Treatment Fee $50 

We have efptos facilities for your convenience, and on the spot health fund claims available.
