Vaan earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marquette university, USA in 2014. Additionally, she has her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology as well. Her passion lies in treating each patient/client individually with a "whole-body holistic" approach to maximize their functional potential.

Her clinical focus is on treating musculoskeletal, sports and workforce health related conditions. She enjoys working with a diverse patient/population of all age groups. She has developed a clinical specialty in lumbar stabilization and posture management. Vaan employs a range of treatments including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise progression, and postural and body mechanics training to reach their specific goals. She is certified in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy via Dry Needling, which adds another skillset to her toolbox while working with patients.
As a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, she works towards empowering her patients to overcome dysfunction and pain in their daily lives. She is an active listener, and sets her patient’s concerns at ease while providing effective care to meet their needs. She strongly believes her approach to physiotherapy promotes overall wellness in her patient’s as they are included in making decisions about their care.

She enjoys continuing education and reading current literature to incorporate evidence-based practice into evaluation and treatment. Outside of work, she stays busy with her family. She enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, reading, traveling, watching sports and volunteering for community events.
